How long does it take to get a quote?
Usually within 48 hours of submitting a build request. We don't auto-generate quotes — a human reviews your games, budget, and target resolution and writes you an itemized spec sheet with alternatives.
What's the warranty on a Hokage Tech build?
Every custom build comes with a 6-month build warranty covering assembly, cabling, and thermal behavior. Individual components retain their original manufacturer warranties — most GPUs, CPUs, and SSDs carry multi-year manufacturer coverage on top.
Do you offer local pickup?
Yes. Our workshop is in Aventura, Florida (just north of Miami). Local pickup is free for customers in South Florida. For everyone else, we ship insured across the US with tracking and signature on delivery.
How does payment work?
After you approve a custom quote, you get a Stripe-hosted invoice sent straight to your email. You can pay the full amount upfront or a 50% deposit (with the balance due before the build ships). For our in-stock prebuilts, payment is a one-step Stripe Checkout.
Do I have to pay before you start the build?
Yes — we're a pay-to-order shop, which is how we keep pricing honest. A deposit (or full payment) reserves the parts and moves your build into the queue. We don't order parts speculatively or carry financing.
Is the OS installed when I receive the PC?
Yes. Every build ships with Windows 11 pre-installed, the latest GPU and chipset drivers applied, stress-tested for 24 hours, and ready to plug in and use. If you prefer Linux or a dual-boot setup, let us know in your build request.
Can I customize the parts in a quote?
Absolutely. The first quote is a starting point — you can swap the GPU, change the case, ask for more RAM or different cooling, bump up storage, and we'll re-quote. Most builds go through 2–3 revisions before approval.
What if something goes wrong after I receive the PC?
Email us at info@hokagetech.com and open a service ticket from your customer portal. Most issues are quick to diagnose over email or a short video call. If something needs physical service, we'll cover inbound shipping within the warranty period.
Do you build for work and content creation, not just gaming?
Yes. Our Premium and No-Limits tiers are popular for streaming, video editing, 3D work, and ML experimentation. Tell us the software you use (Premiere, DaVinci, Blender, Stable Diffusion, etc.) and we'll optimize the build accordingly.
Do you carry a catalog of ready-to-ship prebuilts?
Sometimes. When we have a build on hand we list it in the prebuilt section on the homepage with a fixed price and stock count. These ship faster than a custom build and still include the 6-month build warranty.
